Even though mental health issues affect millions of people worldwide, we are still not getting the help we need to live the best life possible. My mental health journey, I'm in my ninth year, has shown me that mental health is not as important as physical health. Why? Too little is known about our mental health, i.e. mental illness, mental disorder, entitlement. In my almost 10 years of living with severe mental illness experience journey, I have lots to share!

One of my top goals is to make the topic of mental health, and all that it entails, easy to understand. I hope you'll join this people-powered grassroots movement!

Let's Go! Let's Rally!

Together, we can make a difference.

Understanding the Importance of Mental Health

Mental health encompasses our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also plays a crucial role in how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

  • According to the World Health Organization, approximately 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health issue at some point in their lives.

  • Mental health disorders can lead to significant social and economic costs, including lost productivity and increased healthcare expenses.

  • Despite its prevalence, mental health issues are often stigmatized, leading to isolation and a lack of support for those affected.
